My practice integrates critical research with creative technology.
My work consists of four overlapping key capabilities:

Technology & Systems

I translate emerging technologies into working prototypes that can be tested, discussed, critiqued and used.

  • Full-stack prototyping: Python, Flask, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, analytics, API integration
  • AI systems integration: large language models, chat, computer vision, diffusion models, voice interfaces, content moderation, agents
  • Creative technology prototypes and experimental web platforms

Research & Critical Theory

I contextualise design and technology in their socio-cultural and political impacts. I turn these critical questions into concrete outputs, through theory as well as empirical methods.

  • Speculative and critical design, Futures thinking, strategy, reports and consultancy
  • Academic publications: conference presentations, journal articles, practice-based research
  • Social science methods: interviews, qualitative analysis, workshops
  • Collaboration with domain experts, decision-makers, citizens, and users
  • Teaching and facilitation, lectures and courses

Making & Material Practice

I use visual and material language to make ideas tangible and shareable, either as research tools or as final outputs.

  • 3D modelling, texturing, animation, and 3D printing (Rhinoceros 3D, ZBrush, Blender, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag)
  • Physical model-making and prototyping: paper, wood, metal
  • Graphic design: digital and print, including layout, bookmaking and risography
  • Illustration and storytelling
  • Photography: studio product photography and event documentation

Interaction & Play

I design for participation and enquiry, with an attention to how people encounter and interpret things over time.

  • Interactive and playful prototypes
  • Physical computing: Arduino, Raspberry Pi
  • Interface and interaction design
  • Participatory research methods: interviews, workshops, surveys
